About the Psychologist
Samantha Greenwood, M.C. Registered Psychologist
Samantha Greenwood has over a decade’s experience in mental health care, holding various roles in crisis counselling, domestic violence intervention, and substance use support. She also has many years’ experience providing therapy to first responders, students, and other professionals experiencing acute anxiety, relationship issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She has lived in multiple cities during her adult life, and had the pleasure of earning her Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
She is currently earning her PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta, where she is involved in research on both Veterinarian mental health and the intersections of mental health counselling and climate change. Sam is passionate about helping students, emerging adults, professionals, and parents cut through anxiety and fear, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. Her approach is accessible, evidence-based, and grounded; therapy that gets to the point and creates lasting change.
