About The Clinician
Samantha Greenwood, M.C. Registered Psychologist
I am a Registered Psychologist with over a decade of experience in mental health. I have worked in crisis counselling, domestic violence intervention, and substance use support, and I’ve spent many years providing clinical therapy to first responders, students, and other high-achieving professionals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I earned my Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and I am currently completing my PhD in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta. My research focuses on the intersection of mental health and professional life.
When I’m not supporting clients or researching, I am usually spending quality time with my husband and son.

About The Clinic
Located in the heart of Edmonton, Alberta, Greenwood Psychology sits among some of the city’s best cafés, restaurants, and bookstores. The office is best described as “warm and cozy”; I welcome you to help yourself to coffee, snacks, or books while you wait for your appointment. Or, stop by the Bar Oro cafe downstairs for a pastry.
Location
I am located in downtown Edmonton in the Energy Square Building, easily accessible by transit and close to major hospitals, colleges, and universities. My office is a short walk from MacEwan University and NorQuest College, and only a 10-minute LRT ride from the University of Alberta. Edmonton’s iconic river valley is just a few blocks away!
